Take Back The Land Rochester

If I had to make a list of 10 things I am thankful for this holiday season, a home would be in the top 3.  It’s a sad reality that many in the Rochester area don’t have this basic need met and are forced to live in shelters, pick up and relocate constantly, or simply live out in the elements.  While not the same, Take Back the Land‘s mission compliments ours, and I think both groups would agree that homes that are purposefully left vacant do no good for the local community.  Which is why I present to you this heartwarming video from TBTL, appropriate for the holiday season or any time of year.  Here at Rochester Greenovation we look forward to 2012, when hopefully both groups can work in parallel to improve the housing situations in struggling neighborhoods throughout the city.
