Each of our programs has unique material and monetary needs. Program sponsorship offers your organization an opportunity to attach your name to our efforts, large and small.
Our Deconstruction Program is in need of equipment: a flatbed truck, a Bobcat, and a 30ft (or longer) telehandler. Additionally, insurance costs amount to nearly $6000 per year.
The Community Initiatives Program operates a furniture and materials bank. By referral from partner programs, individuals who have recently been matched with housing are sent to “purchase” much-needed furniture or other goods for their new home. Rochester Greenovation relies on community support to keep this program in operation. A monetary sponsorship of any amount would fund continued operation of the bank.
The Creative Reuse Program merges recycling with art, and offers students, designers and community members a resource for “green” material. Sponsorships may cover the whole program, or individual workshops.
Throughout the year Rochester Greenovation hosts multiple fundraisers and other community events. We are actively looking for sponsors for the following: The Trashy Ball (Fall, 2012), our Greentopia exhibit (September 2012), and Recycled Movie Nights (ongoing). Please contact us for more information on these opportunities.
